2012 Canada $20 Fine Silver Coin – The Queen's Diamond Jubilee (Ultra High Relief Portrait)

A portrait struck to heights normally reserved for medallic art. This 2012 $20 fine silver coin celebrates the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II — sixty years on the throne — with an ultra high relief effigy achieved by striking each coin four times on the Mint's highest-pressure presses, then hand-polishing every piece individually.

Because of that handcrafted process, slight surface variations make each coin subtly unique. This is a double-effigy coin, featuring the Queen's likeness on both sides, with designs approved by Buckingham Palace before production. It arrives in its original Royal Canadian Mint maroon clamshell case with serialized certificate.
