A royal portrait sculpted to the heights of ancient medallic art. This 2011 $15 sterling silver coin from the Continuity of the Crown series features H.R.H. Prince William of Wales in ultra high relief — achieved by striking each coin four times, followed by extensive hand-refining and polishing that gives every piece a subtly unique finish.

Rarely does a coin carry a royal effigy on both sides, but every coin in this series does: Laurie McGaw's portrait of Prince William on the reverse, and Susanna Blunt's effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. It arrives in its original Royal Canadian Mint maroon clamshell case.
