1978 Canada $1 XI Commonwealth Games Edmonton Silver Dollar — Specimen, Cased

The 1978 silver dollar struck for the XI Commonwealth Games, held in Edmonton that summer. The reverse carries the Games symbol surrounded by pictograms of the sports, with the legend XI COMMONWEALTH GAMES EDMONTON 1978.

It comes in the Royal Canadian Mint's original black leatherette case with red lining and the Canadian coat of arms on the lid.
