1974 Sierra Leone 1 Leone Sterling Silver Proof – Bank of Sierra Leone 10th Anniversary

To mark its tenth anniversary, the Bank of Sierra Leone commissioned the Royal Mint to strike a commemorative crown-size coin. It came in two versions: cupronickel for circulation, and a proof in sterling silver. This is the sterling silver proof, dated 1974, showing Dr. Siaka Stevens.

Each coin sits in a capsule in its red Royal Mint case, stamped Bank of Sierra Leone 1964–1974.
